Since 2003 the GEO Program has provided an unusual opportunity for selected university students to be individually guided and exposed to the annual summertime meeting of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland. This GEO Program gives students first-hand experience in dealing with a multitude of United Nations-sponsored topics such as the complexity of providing health care for all societies as well as addressing the need for and implementation of a broad spectrum of human rights issues.
